Note to ones self..NEVER eat pizza an hour before working out. Actually, just don’t eat pizza!! I had some leftover pizza from yesterday and needed to have a filling lunch so that I could work out and teach without having to eat in between. I ate 2 slices of leftover pizza and headed out to the gym. By the time I got there, it was already a bit late so I could only use the eliptical for 25 minutes, stretch and change in to my teaching clothes to leave. As I was working out I could feel this weight in my stomach and I didn’t want to push myself that hard. It didn’t help that the pizza had left me thirsty so I was always guzzling water but never really quenching my thirst. (There is more where this came from … )
