Claiming My Prize

After sneaking in to the gym on Saturday for my 6th day in a row, I was able to claim my prize for going 12 times in one month. I got a Tshirt that is dark blue which has this cheesy saying on the front like, I DID IT-I AM A FITNESS CHAMPION! Haha okkkkkk…but hey why not? I have been very good this past week and have made the effort. Even though I had to meet up with Russ not long after for dinner, I was only able to do a little bit on the Eliptical. I felt jipped though because I left early. I am starting to feel like I can do MORE now because my heart is used to the fast pumping when I actually move. (There is more where this came from … )

Getting Your Ginch

I found the BEST pair of undies that are perfect for gym wear. Mind you, the only time I have worn them was when I tried them on for size. I tried taking the right picture of them today but it was hard because they don’t photograph so well on their own. Instead, I decided to take a picture of the tag that came with the ginch so you could all be fooled in to thinking that the girl on that picture is really…me ;) I still have to test out the ginch at the gym and I should now that I found the right picture to show. They are guaranteed NO SEAMS and it is true. The material is a very soft jersey and it comes in many styles…high cut, bikini, modern brief (which is mine because it is low cut but covers the butt enough) and another style..I can’t remember. Going on Day 5

I wasn’t able to come on yesterday and post, but I thought I would now before I head down to the gym. It will be my 5th consecutive day of going which isn’t bad. I am not feeling overly sore because I did the weights once this week which was fine. Yesterday I took my new headphones with me and hopped on an eliptical. I stuck on a Billy Klippert cd which I have to say is the BEST cd to work out to-upbeat, alive, loud! Eventually I “ran” for his entire cd and a few minutes more. Yes, I had a complete 40 minute session on the Eliptical, which for me is amazing! I have NEVER been on machinery that focuses on cardio for that long. The day before I had stopped at 30 minutes, but I felt that I could do it if I didn’t focus on anything but the music and that really helped! (There is more where this came from … )

Damn that Technology

Third day in a row going to the gym, but because it was so warm and my green outfit doesn’t absorb since I am convinced it is polyester, I was REALLY hot by the time I got to the gym!! My socks were on fire so I was sweating even more on the Eliptical! Even though I am quite sore and my legs are stiff, I HAD to go-argh, just for that damn prize which I want, whatever it is! Well the good news is that at least I need to go 2 more days to get it and then I can do the 4-5 days a week. I really think I need a break in between-doing the Eliptical still works the legs out a lot, and all of the circuit machines involve the legs too-so I might be over doing it! I only put in 30 minutes on the Eliptical today, but I sweat WAY more because the hot sun was on my back and I was putting in more effort today! (There is more where this came from … )

Boobs in the Locker room

Just a funny and an eye opener for me…I went to the gym today before work again which is really working out for me. I get there in my gym outfit, do my thing and then change and head off to work. I am glad that I can find time to make it over there in the day time and still have enough energy. I tried one machine that is an eliptical but doesn’t have the arm movement things-I found that doing 30 minutes on it was easier, but I wasn’t sweating as much. So I guess I know to get on the trainer where you can do your thing and use your arms as well. (There is more where this came from … )

Starting May on a Monday!

Ok so I woke up after having wished that I could have stayed in bed LONGER! Sadly though, as I stay in bed longer, my back stiffens up and my neck soon follows! I decided that I would DEFINITELY get my arse out to the gym today-no exceptions. I don’t want to be wasting ANY money on not going down there for silly excuses, even if it is cheap, the point is there. This is a committment and I have to keep with it-perhaps if I had a Fitness Diamond ring on my finger, I could be reminded of that committment every single day! haha (There is more where this came from … )

Indulging… but not in fitness

It’s been a few days and all the while I have been meaning to post about how well my fitness routine is going. Sad to say that as I sit here in a pretty dress that doesn’t show the one muscle I worked on, I’m working on the third course of a five course feast.

I have to admit that at this very moment, I couldn’t care less about the fact that my gym bag is now collecting dust, and my cute little gym outfits are starting to wrinkle.

But as Scarlett O’Hara would say: Tomorrow is another day.

Besides everyone is allowed to take a few (five) days off. ;)

*Edited to say that the food I had was EXCEPTIONAL and so stuffing-totally worth it until the gross blackforest cake came out! Eww!
