Don Lemmon
I know what you are thinking…either this is some new man in my life, a new dish from a restaurant, or Don Juan’s American brother. But you are WRONG! This is the name of a guy who has come up with this huge fitness program over the years and has been a fitness and nutrionalist to the starts in Hollywood. Yeah, I know, another gimmick but this time Russ found the boook and told me about it. The book is called:
KNOW HOW-the Truth About Exercise and Nutrition Book 1
Sounds kinda neat, don’t it? From glancing through Russ’s copy, there was some amazing facts that I learned-for instance, eating salad AFTER your main course aids in the digestion of your food, eating it before will only disrupt it. Also, frying oil at high heats turns them in to toxins and therefore causes harm on your body-so all those deep fried things you like can doubly kill you!! You get the idea though-this book, we have decided, is a manual on how your body works and what works with its digestion system. Almost a textbook in Science on the functions of the human body and how it processess food-what types of food do well in the system and what types don’t. Fascinating things like that. It isn’t a gimmick book that says you will lose 100 pounds in 3 weeks, but more of an Educational approach to what this Lemmon guy found during his career in fitness and health.
Stuff like that in the book really peeked my curiosity so I decided to get my own copy which arrived in the mail yesterday. I will have to read it and let you know what I think and if it is alifestyle I can adapt to-it does focus a lot on food combining which I think is one of the smartest approaches you can take to your own health.
