Lisa’s Quest for Fitness

Remember when I got so happy that I had a brand new thermos from Starbucks? I finally started using it on my treks to school just cause….then I remembered that I had some real green tea leaves that a student gave me a year ago from Vietnam. I decided to try some out and put some in a pot of hot water. I must have made a mistake because there were SO many leaves that grew in that pot. I didn’t know that the dried leaves would get so big with the hot water so I just dumped it all in my thermos and went to school. (There is more where this came from … )

It was funny today-the weather was nice and I decided that I would enjoy the walk to my class since I got to school earlier. Funny how the first week of classes always has ZILLIONS of cars lined up anywhere and everywhere to get in to parking-and today, it was almost empty. I took a nice walk and got to class and everything went well. The 3 hours are long but I got through it with my hot pink thermos full of real green tea!! During break time, I had to go up to the 11th floor to pick up a project that was waiting for me. I decided to be all healthy and take the stairs up….keep in mind that one floor of steps going UP is about 15 steps or so…so I went up on flight-jogged up the next, and the next. I discovered Burt’s Bees sometime last year when I decided to try their lipbalm which I LOVE to pieces. Since then I have heard a lot about their products being all natural and have decided to invest in the full line of skincare. I have purchased some of their mini kits since some items don’t come in full size and have found some things I like, and other I don’t. (There is more where this came from … )
